These are very much part of family issues, but they are insignificant alone in themselves, because often the conviction of natal astrology largely limits one's horoscope potential to one's own private, personal viewpoint. Indeed, one's own viewpoint is necessarily a composite of contributions from other sources, most fundamentally from one's immediate family and ancestral source as well as one's descendants. The problem that often arises within the study of and work on individualized natal horoscopy is the loss of the individual's relationship to a larger framework.
This means that one has to be very open-minded in the beginning of the analysis. To look for planetary dynamics where they don’t exist, or to expect there to be an elemental weight or sign dominance, could be misleading. The secret is to find the pattern which lies within the family itself, then draw up a linking-tree with the dominant feature(s) presenting. Naturally, all the horoscopes must be set.
