Extra time spent here helped ensure trouble-free construction. The fuselage halves were then ‘tacked’ together with spots of superglue at intervals of 6–12mm along the join. With the fuselage secured, Tamiya Liquid Polystyrene Cement was brushed along the join line. This step adds significant strength to the assembly. Finally, when the liquid glue had completely dried, another coat of thin superglue was applied over the top of the join. This final adhesive coat fills any tiny holes, and offers a hard surface for sanding, scribing and polishing.
