Several large ejection-pin marks around inside the fuselage and cowling. If not removed, they will be visible once the fuselage is complete. A Dremel tool with a grinding bit makes quick work of these. The two windows below the cockpit are installed prior to the fuselage halves going together. A micro saw does a nice job of removing clear parts from their sprue without damaging the part. I should have installed the seat after the fuselage was together, as it would have been easier to paint the bulkhead and headrest.
A mix of three parts Tamiya XF-18 Medium Blue and one part XF-2 White was sprayed on for the upper blue-gray color, allowing some of the pre-shading to show through. Some white was then added to the mix to lighten the color and it was thinned out even more. This was randomly misted onto the upper color to create a weathered effect. The fabric control surfaces were further weathered by a bit more white and some gray added to the previous mix. There is no science as to how much or what color to add for weathering effects, just whatever looks good to you.
