Once the 3G jounce static load is chosen, the required GVW at the front or rear axle is adjusted from the default value and all other adjustable parameters are kept in default values. 8. Run the 3G jounce static analysis and plot the calculated time histories of left and right jounce bumper forces. These jounce bumper forces are used for adjusting the pulse duration of tire patch input forces.

Those parameters include geometry, mass, and inertia, spring and bushing properties, shock and jounce bumper force characteristics, and others. 4.
